  My walking buddy and I were looking forward to eating here on our last night after walking the Cateran Trail.

We had a little preview in the afternoon as... read more we'd arrived in Blairgowrie earlyish and of course it is compulsory to sit and drink some alcohol at the end of a long distance walk. We sat outside and were able to admire the converted church from the outside and look at the changing blackboard menus with mounting excitement.

Back there in the evening for dinner and of course inside this time. The Covid precautions were good. The menus majors on seafood but there are other things too. The atmosphere was nice and service was friendly and speedy. We both had fishy starters and main. I can't remember what I had for the starter but I had halibut for the main - it was good but maybe just a wee tad dried out, though I think halibut can be prone to this. My companion had the crab tart and scallops as I remember and loved them both.

Prices were reasonable given the quality of the fish and the fact that it is an expensive item in the first place.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit and the food and would certainly return and recommend it to others! I can't imagine there is a better place to eat in Blaigowrie!

Housed in an old church,... read more the vibe is rather interesting. The stained glass window is really nice, but when we were there it was mostly empty, so a little disconcerting. Overall, our meal was really solid, not amazing, but I felt it was very good for where we were. The calamari was just calamari, but I will say that the stuffed crab and the pigeon breast were both spectacular, and highly recommended. The net is, if you are in the area when it's time for lunch/dinner, you will not be disappointed at Little's.

The wine list is expensive, but of good quality. The menu is varied and well priced, with the "specials board" always being full of mouth watering fish dishes.

The servings are very generous and I recommend the skate whenever it is available - superbly cooked and always has plenty of fishmeat to enjoy.

The staff are vey good and attentive and ready to discuss your personal needs as to choices and accompaniments.

My only complaint woud be the fact that my wife, who is a vegetarian coeliac, was not really catered for, despite maing this clear when the table was booked.
One minute it was to be a vegetable surprise, then when it was served it was a rissotto cake, with no vegetables at all and tepid! I would point out that I have said NO to getting a good gluten free meal, but those who eat fish would be able too, of course.
This does seem to be a problem wherever and whenever we eat out, so not just a "Littles" problem - however, for those amongst us fortunate enough to have no food allergies whatsoever, I would recommend this establishment 100% and list it as one of my all time favourite places to eat.
